Rizvi College of Hotel Management (RCHM) comes under Rizvi Education Society which is a Public Charitable Trust recognized under the Societies Act 1950 and registered under the provisions of The Bombay Public Act, 1950. The main objective of the Society has always been to encourage education at all levels. The Society commenced with a College of Arts, Science, and Commerce and Rizvi Springfield High School in the year 1985.

It later pronged into Rizvi College of Architecture, Rizvi College of Hotel Management and Catering Technology, Rizvi College of Engineering, Rizvi College of Management Studies and Research, Rizvi Academy of Management, Rizvi Law College, and Rizvi College of Training. All these colleges are situated at Rizvi Educational Complex, in the picturesque and serene vicinity of Carter Road off the coast of Bandra West in Mumbai.

On one side from the various institutions in Mumbai, a Degree College of Arts, Commerce, and Science and a Girls High School in Jaunpur (Uttar Pradesh) and a Degree College of Arts and Commerce, a B.Ed. Rizvi College of Hotel Management (RCHM) and Catering Technology runs a BSc in Hospitality Studies program of 3-year duration. Candidates who have finalizedthe HSC or equivalent examination with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC, ST candidates) are considered eligible to get admission to the B.Sc. course. Admission to the program is given based on the applicant’s merit in the qualifying examination, and performance in group discussion followed by a personal interview conducted by the college.
