Suresh Gyan Vihar University BTech (SGVU) was renowned in 2008 in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The university was established by the Government of Rajasthan Jaipur under Act No. 16 of 2008, passed in the state Assembly of Rajasthan, giving it the status of ‘State University. At the UG level, the SGVU university offers a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) program with various specializations highlighting the area of Engineering and Technology to the applicants who want to make their career in the field of Engineering. The time of the program is four years. The institute also provides an Integrated B.Tech + M.Tech course under similar specializations holding five years.

1. The admission in B.Tech is done based onthe rank secured in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Applicants who meet the eligibility criteria are only liable to smear for a B.Tech course in this college.
2. Candidates willing to appear in JEE, are advised to visit the authorized website of JEE for online application
3. Entrants can also appear in GVSAT, which is a PC-based online test conducted by the university.

• To get admission to the university, candidates need to register themselves at  the university website and follow the steps for registering
• The candidate needs to fill the given fields with atmost attention: Full name of the candidate, Contact Number, and E-mail id. A system-generated email, mentioning the candidate’s unique student id (SID), 6-digit password, and other important instructions will be sent promptly to the e-mail id only if by the candidate
• Having entered the above-mentioned information, the candidate then has to select the sequencer of his/her choice and click on the submit button to proceed to the next page to complete the lingering application process
• Candidates can pay the fee working using a Credit Card, Debit Card, or through Net Banking
• The candidate can also pay the remuneration amount using a Bank Demand Draft drawn in favor of “Suresh Gyan Vihar University” billed at Jaipur. Alternatively, the expense can also be made using a Challan (generate a copy of the challan form online) that can be deposited at any Axis Bank branch across the country. The user is required to direct a print-out of the duly completed application form to the Admission Coordinator, Suresh Gyan Vihar University, Mahal, Jagatpura, Jaipur-302017, Rajasthan by speed post/registered post along with the unique demand draft/ university challan copy, before the last date
• User can also deposit the application fee in currency at the University’s Finance Department
